compass (singles 20-39)
1. an instrument for determining direction
2. an instrument for drawing circles or measuring distances
3. full extent or range, such as the range of tones in a voice or instrument
4. an area within limits or a boundary line
5. a new movement of young single adults in the Tri-Cities

In a world of uncertainty and change, we all need something to point us in the right direction, something to draw the boundaries for us and show us the best way to live. We need something to push us to reach our full potential, to drive us to go the distance and live life to the fullest. Compass is a movement of young single adults (20-39) seeking to walk through life in fellowship with each other, together pursuing God, who promises to give direction as we ask for it.

The Truth Project
A 12-14 week study group for men & women in their 20s & 30s
Thursdays, 6:45 pm, Feb 11 through mid-May at Phillip & Christin Claybrook's home in Bluff City
Do you really believe that what you believe is really real? Does what you believe affect the way you live? Recent polls uncover a stunning fact: many of today's professing Christians do not have a biblical worldview. Instead, we live lives very similar to non-believers; we spend our money and time on things that fail to satisfy and we begin to wonder what life's ultimate purpose really is. This video-and-discussion home study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective.
Each lesson takes a tour of a different aspect of life-family, work, society, ethics, history, science, government, etc.-and examines the relevance and importance of living out the Christian worldview in all areas of daily life. These tours will help us answer life's biggest questions: Who is God? What is man? Does evil exist? What is truth? Come join us for this life-changing, culture-shaping study!

Iron Sharpens Iron
An ongoing study group for men in their 20s & 30s
As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. (Proverbs 27:17)
Tuesdays, 7pm, Jeff Pierson's home in south Kingsport
Iron Sharpens Iron 20s/30s Single Men's Ministry invites you to join us for "The Quest for Authentic Manhood". Over the next 9 months we will come together every Tuesday night to strengthen each other through biblical teaching and small group interaction. This is more than just a rally or a Bible study, this study will provide men with an encouraging process that teaches them how to live lives of authentic manhood as modeled by Jesus Christ and directed by the Word of God. First developed by Robert Lewis, from Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock, Arkansas, these time-tested resources have been used all over the world to equip men to make their pursuit of noble manhood a lifelong priority. Please plan to join us for a life changing experience as we discover what it means to be an "authentic man".

HeartSong
An ongoing study group for women in their 20s
Tuesdays, 7pm, Debbie Bennett's home in west Kingsport
Join a brand new study with women in your same stage of life who long for Christian friendship and a place to grow closer to Christ. This new study, beginning on February 16th, is based on the book, The Divine Romance, by Dee Bright. Many of us try to fulfill our most intimate needs and desires with things that only temporarily satisfy. You can exchange those counterfeit substitutes for a genuine and lasting fulfillment that only God can provide. Learn through Scripture how God alone can meet your unique needs by breaking the negative habits and debilitating beliefs that keep you from experiencing God's best for your life. Allow Him to love you with a passion beyond anything this world has to offer. This is an 8- 10 week study and each session lasts 1-1/2 hrs.
